Celebrating 61 years of Indian Independence !!!

15th August 1947 was the day when India got freedom from the British Rule. The ‘Gloden Bird’ as it was termed then, was set free to explore the blue skies..

Today, 61 years after that glorious moment of Indian history, we celebrate the day with the same fervour. This day counts above all…. castes, creed, genders…. nothing stands a barrier to the pride and happiness that abounds the heart of all Indians.

Today, I pledge once again to stand by my nation in all its ups and downs, no matter where destiny lands me..my love for my country shall not be affected.. Wherever I be, I ll love you & thank you for what I am today..

India is my country and all Indians are my brothers and sisters.
I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage.
I shall always strive to be worthy of it.
I shall give respect to my parents, teachers and elders and treat everyone with courtesy.

To my country and my people, I pledge my devotion.
In their well being and prosperity alone, lies my happiness.
